The Shipping Forecast has guided mariners since 1925 but also been relaxing listening to many people during its daily broadcast on BBC Radio Four. To commemorate this milestone, a range of placemats, coasters, and trays have been produced using natural cork. This tray is the ideal size for serving drinks to your family or friends.

Did you know, cork is harvested from the cork oak trees in Portugal every nine years without harming the tree or wildlife and still continues to absorb Co2, even as a product in your home, We even collect wine bottle corks in our Minehead shop which are sent for recycling and made into new cork products.

The Letterbox Vase

The POTR Letterbox Vase, inspired by origami and designed to be shipped flat packed, springs into its full form directly out of the packaging. The flat pack form of POTR products have been designed to have the smallest carbon footprint possible during transit.

Made from recycled polypropylene and high grade silicone, the materials and the faceted design, allow the vase to fold symmetrically, resulting in a compressed size as little as 5mm thick. Once assembled, the tapered form measuring 24cm tall, ensures the vase is stable and capable of holding a full bouquet of flowers and up to one litre of water. The soft silicone rim is both kind to your flower stems and helps you to easily arrange your bouquet.
